A Development Academy tryout gives JFA a chance to see the athlete in an appropriate evaluation setting before Academy placement. Coaches consider technical level, effort, attitude, decision-making, game awareness, and the training environment that may fit the player—not simply a roster need or a single drill.

Families can continue with their outdoor club, school, recreational, or other soccer organization. JFA is an independent indoor development academy that complements outdoor soccer through structured team training, individual technical work, faster decisions, confident play under pressure, and year-round indoor access.

Use the live registration flow for the current tryout details and published schedule. If the listed evaluation dates create a conflict, contact JFA before assuming an alternate time is available. JFA serves Jacksonville, Camp Lejeune, New River, Midway Park, Hubert, Richlands, Swansboro, Sneads Ferry, Maysville, and the broader Onslow County area.
