This agreement applies to recurring Development Academy and Open Play Membership enrollment. The JFA waiver is a separate legal document and acceptance flow.
Open Play Membership
Open Play Membership is $20 per month before applicable sales tax. It includes the enrolled athlete’s appropriate Friday Youth Open Play or Adult Open Play admission at no separate per-night charge. After each successful monthly payment, JFA automatically registers the enrolled athlete for the next four published Friday Open Play sessions appropriate for that athlete’s age. The membership is athlete-specific, subject to published capacity, and cannot be transferred to another athlete.
Enrollment is recurring monthly with no three-month minimum commitment. A guardian may request cancellation at any time, and JFA will stop the next renewal while the enrolled athlete keeps access to the remaining Friday reservations provided by the current paid membership period. JFA does not provide prorated months, returns, or credits.
Development Academy memberships
The standard monthly base prices are Team Development $80, Academy $100, and Elite Development Academy $135, before applicable sales tax. Founding Members receive $30 off the selected plan’s monthly base price for the first 24 monthly payment equivalents: $50, $70, or $105 respectively. At enrollment, the guardian chooses either a 12-month membership billed monthly, a 6-month membership billed monthly at $10 more per month, or 12 months paid in full at the price of 10 months. The exact selected price, tax, commitment, and total minimum obligation appear before checkout.
Monthly memberships continue month-to-month at the then-current rate after the selected initial commitment unless cancelled before the next billing date. A paid-in-full 12-month membership has no automatic renewal after the paid year. A new 12-month term is not created unless it is affirmatively accepted.
Athlete-specific training and league benefits
Membership benefits belong only to the athlete selected at enrollment and may not be transferred. Team Development includes four Technical Training sessions per monthly credit period, Academy includes six, and Elite Development Academy includes nine. Every plan includes one scheduled team training session each scheduled program week. Unused Technical Training allowances expire at the end of their monthly credit period and do not carry over, convert to credit, or guarantee a particular class.
Individual Technical Training class capacity is 10 total athletes. Team Development has standard access only while fewer than eight standard-access registrations exist and total capacity remains below 10. Academy and Elite have priority access to remaining availability until total capacity reaches 10; priority access is not a guaranteed booking. Every Academy plan includes the base individual player registration for one Winter League and one Summer League season for the enrolled athlete. Tournament fees, uniforms, add-ons, travel, and third-party costs remain separate.
Individual-session changes
A guardian who cancels or reschedules an individual session at least 48 hours before the session keeps that credit only for a suitable replacement within the same monthly credit period. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows forfeit that session. If JFA cancels an individual session and cannot offer a suitable same-period replacement, JFA restores that individual-session credit for up to 30 days.
Cancellation, late payment, and records
During a selected monthly commitment, a guardian may request cancellation. JFA will provide written confirmation showing the request date, effective date, access end date, and remaining committed balance. The unpaid committed balance is the only early-cancellation amount; JFA does not impose a separate $150 early-cancellation fee or stack a fee on the remaining balance. A paid-in-full membership has no renewal scheduled after its paid year. A $25 late-payment fee may apply to missed, declined, or returned payments, and benefits may be suspended while an account is past due.
Checkout requires an unchecked acknowledgement and JFA records the guardian, enrolled athlete, plan, agreement version, acceptance timestamp, commitment start and end, monthly billing amount, and total minimum obligation. This page does not state or imply that an attorney has reviewed or approved these terms.
Separate waiver
The membership agreement is separate from the JFA waiver. The waiver is the participation document that also identifies Jacksonville Paintball & Airsoft Park LLC d/b/a Jacksonville Indoor Recreation Center as applicable. A membership acknowledgement does not replace any waiver requirement.
